Deerfield Inn & Suites

The hotel was decent, the front staff was nice. Our room was clean, but the floor had a giant stain in it and the bedsheets had a burn mark on them (maybe from a cigarette or something?). But other than that it was a pleasant stay, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall not bad for the price we paid.

Surprisingly nice and clean. The room was spotless and smelled great. Ac worked great and was quiet. Good size TV and channel selection. -1 star because the wifi is horrible, less than 1meg down. If you stay, the Mexican restaurant next door was really good.

Hidden gem. Staff was extremely helpful and caring. Rooms smelt great and were clean, cozy and safe! Glad we found this place on our long journey to get some much needed rest.

Cleanest rooms at this exit. Service was great too. Ask for extra towels if you need more than 2 and there's no breakfast, just coffee. All in all it was a good value for the money.

One of the cleanest, yet most inexpensive places we stayed out of the 10 we stayed at on our trip. The other 9 were hotels, one of which was 4 star rated and 2.5 times the price and this was cleaner. The walls are a bit thin as I could here the person next door snoring, but not enough to keep me from sleeping. Would stay again for sure.

We stayed here in June on a trip north along I-55; we prefer to avoid the chains when possible, and weren't at all disappointed here. The lady at the front desk was wonderfully warm and welcoming, and oyu certainly can't beat the price! The room was modest but clean, with ample space to move around and a bathroom that wasn't as cramped as a lot of them tend to be these days. The bed was great - clearly we didn't get the room some folks have complained about! Appreciated that we could back into a parking space right outside the door, which made unloading luggage very convenient. The room's window was open onto the parking lot when we checked in - so the air was fresh, not laden with Febreze or some other stinky scent as so many are these days. Turned on the A/C and in five minutes it was comfortably cool and dry inside. There's no ersatz "breakfast" in the lobby in the morning, but the Huddle House is immediately next door and serves up a GREAT breakfast very affordably. Would defintely stay here the next time we come through town!

The owners are so nice. I stay here frequently for work and the owners are always super nice and friendly. My room is always clean & comfortable and it’s quiet. I have never had any issues staying here. I always feel safe.

Positives. I spotted this on our travels. We were headed north. My husband liked that it was near the highway and easy to get to. The Deerfield Inn is an older brick motel with parking at the door. The red brick lent itself as sturdy and welcoming. The lot was clean and free of debris. My husband likes these motels as he can easily park by the door which saves him from excessive walking. Since we were only staying one night, it was quite adequate to our needs, though if needed, a longer stay at this facility would be welcoming. The bed was comfortable and not too high for me. I did take my own pillow in as I do since I have a special case on it for my comfort. My husband said the pillows were great. He really enjoyed the recliner chair, which he sat in and enjoyed very much! The air conditioner/ heater worked well. We were quite comfortable. It WAS QUIET! Tv worked. We were able to locate programs by categories on the menu. Fridge worked. Iron and board were there if needed. Hair dryer also. Towels and wash clothes were white and fluffy and adequate for a good experience. The bathroom fan worked well. The lights and lamps that we turned on worked. The room had a fresh aroma when we walked in. There was a desk chair that my husband noted as well as I did that was difficult to move on the clean and well vacuumed carpet. If lifted, the chair moved, though it was a very sturdy, heavy chair. The ICE machine and POP machine were Iocated to the LEFT of the office door. There was no breakfast needed as the HUDDLE HOUSE was located next door. My husband got coffee to go at the motel, which he said was good and very nice to take with him. Negative, though these were small and far from hindering our stay. A tiny area missing in the rug. A loose spot on the bed spread. Some wear on the furniture that touch up paint or furniture cream would help as these were black in color. Overall this was a very nice, clean, no bug motel, managed by an older couple who were very kind and generous.

Room was nice, clean and well maintained. Convenient to highway but was quiet. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast nice but also a restaurant on both sides to choose from. Very good value and we will stay here again.

We have been traveling along the Gilf shores for about 2 weeks. The little gem was very clean. Beds were great. Front desk Grandma was so sweet and helpful. If we ever get this way again, we would definitely stay there again.
